One of the hardest parts of public radio is getting listeners to become supporting members. Less than 10,000 people who listen to Jazz 88 on a regular basis are supporting members. 

What about the other 80,000 plus who listen to Jazz 88 every week? No matter where you listen to Jazz 88, in the Twin Cities or around the world, your support is needed right now!

Jazz 88 offers underwriting announcements to reach an affluent, well-educated audience with a factual, informative message describing your business and its products or services. With a basic rate of $50 per credit (20 second spot), underwriting on Jazz 88 is an incredibly affordable way to promote your business and support quality Jazz radio in the Twin Cities!

First, according to NPR's 1996 study, 81% of our listeners go out of their way to support the businesses that support us. That’s an incredibly powerful fact, and a claim that no commercial station (or any other medium, for that matter) can make.

Second, Jazz 88 reaches over 110,000 people weekly. 65% of these listeners are between the ages of 25-54 and 57% have a household income over $50,000. These are great demographics!

Third, our flexibility in copy language and scheduling maximize our ability to generate effective reach, frequency and results. It's not about whether we can air your commercial. We can’t. What it is about is whether or not we can make your point and achieve the desired result. We can.
